Dental Technology

Our office uses modern, state-of-the-art technology to enhance patient comfort and to help you get the smile you deserve!

Digital Scanner

Our team now utilizes 3 Shape software and the Trios 5 wireless digital scanner. Our patients love this upgrade from the traditional dental impression!

3D Printer

We are proud to use the EPAX 3D printer system in our office. Digital dentistry is the way of the future!

Digital X-rays

Our intraoral digital x-rays are taken using sensors that directly transmit the image to the computer monitor. Not only are they fast, the images are crisper, enhanceable, and are more optimal for diagnosing dental decay and other problems. An important advantage to this technology is that it reduces the amount of radiation by 90%. Our digital panoramic machine allows us to not only assess impacted teeth but is necessary to check for pathology in and around the mouth.

Digital Camera

We take intraoral pictures of our patients using a digital camera. This helps us show you what we see!

Tekscan

Our Tekscan equipment allows for detailed analysis of occlusion (the way your teeth fit together).

Laser

The diode laser can be used to trim the gums where better access is needed for restorations. Using a laser means no stitches, minimal bleeding, and easier recovery than traditional methods of trimming.

We also use our laser for disinfection of the gum tissue at hygiene appointments. By disinfecting the periodontal pockets, we can better battle periodontal, or gum, disease.

Ultrasonic Cleaning

The cavitron is an ultrasonic scaler. It allows us to remove buildup from your teeth faster and with less pressure. It is also great at removing persistent stains and flushing out bas bacteria.

White fillings

Although white fillings have been around for a long time, the new materials can now be used in a wider range of applications allowing you to keep your smile as white as it can be!

Root Canals

Our rotary endodontic system allows for more efficient navigation of root canals.
